The staff working this session will all have experience of supporting children and families with childrren who have additional needs and are passionate about ensuring ALL children have access to forest school.
All of our sessions are inclusive and we welcome every child to any of our sessions, so please do not feel that just because your child may have a diagnosis of an additional need that they can only attend our SEN sessions. They are more than welcome to all of our other sessions too , you can remain with them if you would prefer, or at times we may also be able to provide a 1:1 to support them if needed.
However, these SEN sessions are lovely for families to be able to meet other families, they have less children booked in and an unlimited number of adults may attend with the family. Siblings are also welcome!
Our next SEN session will be during the May Half Term.

Perhaps a child cannot cope with the expectations of the classroom, has social or emotional needs that require an alternative approach or perhaps they have suffered trauma or have a mental health condition that means they need a slightly different approach to a school setting. No matter what the reason, we are here to welcome them with open arms and feel passionate that with the right approach paired with the great outdoors we can offer a tranquil and beautiful space to support them to flourish.
