These include and paper party bag with a variety of natural, plastic free items inside such as: an envelope of bird seed, an envelope of seeds with some compost pelets, a biodegradable pot, a spotter sheet and a rustic pencil..
These are completely plastic free and can be adapted depending on the age of the children. Some of our items are seasonal and the party bags are all different. Therefore they may not be identical to the image above but will always have a selection of nature inspired suprises inside!

Toasted banana over the embers of a fire are just delicious! We melt chocolate and mini marsmallows inside the skin and then you just scoop the middle out! Dairy free and vegan options available. Half a banana per child.

This is such a fun activity! The children get to decorate a piece of bread and then toast it on the fire!

These are an absolute forest school favourite! Totrilla wraps with a tomato base and melted cheese inside! We can also add peperoni or ham!

This is a simple bread recipe which we wrap around a stick and cook on the fire. This can be plain, salty, cinnamon flavoured, cheese, chocolate or even nettle damper bread!
We can also provide crumpets, tea cakes, hot cross buns or brioches to toast

We can cook bacon on the fire to go in rolls or sandwivhes, these can be for the children or the grown ups!

We use a local professional baker who can make fantastic personalised cup cakes to order, peerfect for party bags or to hand our at the end of the party with no worrying about cutting a cake.
Cupcakes are available in chocolate, vanilla or lemon flavour. Gluten-free is available on request.
Any design and colour is possible - please just ask! Here are some recent cupcake designs to give you some ideas. Add small fondant toppers, chocolates or sweets or simply sprinkles to really enhance your party!

"Fireflies forest school ran my daughter's 9th birthday party and it was fabulous! I wasn't sure about holding an outdoor party in December but Fireflies were so keen and confident that all would be well and they were right! The cold weather did not bother the children at all and there is always shelter in the forest. It was a witches and wizards party and the children made potions, whittled and decorated wands and ate food cooked on an open fire. It was such a special day my daughter will always remember. 'Robin' and 'Snail' were absolutely lovely with all the children, giving them plenty of freedom to explore but also providing fun, structured activities to take part in."

"Jessica and Sonia did a fantastic job organising and hosting our six year old's birthday party. He and his friends had a brilliant time in their Forest School area, set up in the woods at Hinchingbrooke Country Park. There were hammocks, a rope swing, fun and games, and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. They also organised an absolutely amazing birthday cake, and some lovely, plastic-free party bags.
